It works just fine. It helps the process of de-oxidizing greatly and makes things simpler.

Now regarding to "no clean" part. Well if you use proper amount of it you might end up with no clean situation. But usually well you have to clean it of the board. Is it going to be a brush or a clean room wipe or IPA with hot air does not matter it will clean very easy and good.Just use small amounts a time until you have enough for the job at hand.Do not try to put more on the brush as it fits. Just take it to the bottle few more times and you will get to the right amount. Or use some other way to dispense it.

Any ways this No Clean rant is just smallest issue possible. It is more than good enough just as not as good as high end gel stuff.

So if you expect it to be as "no clean" as those expensive gels you might be little disappointed. But if you learn how to use it you will be more then satisfied especially for the low price per mL of flux.

Also do not forget that disregarding does it smells good or bad (this one smells like IPA) you will need a fume extractor.
Remember higher the temperature goes fluxes will be harder to work with. They will evaporate faster and burn creating to much fumes that are not healthy.
