Nice thing to build. Easy and clear instructions on the Velleman's web page.

Quadcopter is tiny. Very very small. But it is meant to be used in small spaces and indoors. So it will function as small as it is.

As other small Copters battery capacity is small and controls are pretty sensitive.

Easy to build.

Now their flying instruction is pretty useless for the absolute beginner. They do not explain it proper. They just have demonstration of someone flying it very very good.

If you do not know that you need to calibrate it to be able to fly it you will think something is wrong. You will thing one engine sucks. They do not explain how to do it. Even when you know it it is still hard to do it. So I bet lot of people will build it and leave it.

Anyways for the price you can't beat it. You get building hours fun and if you learn how to use it hours of flying fun as well.


Good present for someone who knows how to use a Quadcopter.

BTW this kit just solidifies my decision to option 1: do not get another Quad or option 2: to give 1000 Euro for DJI Mavic Pro what ever will be newest version and be done with it.
