Degelijk apparaat en onmisbaar! als je smd componenten wilt verwijderen. Soms is de 480 graden echt nodig.
De knop op de kop had voor mij ook wat hoger mogen zitten zodat je hem met de duim kan bedienen.
De bediening vind ik niet helemaal logisch, maar goed er is altijd wat te zeuren.

Hell makkelijk te gebruiken. Voelt kwaliteit.

The Atten ST-826D works beautifully! I have assembled my first PCB as a test using the Chipquick TS391LT from Eleshop (138 degree melting point solder paste) and it look excellent under the microscope. I've soldered leadless components with thermal pads and SMD discrete components down to 0603. I had to reduce the airflow to 20% as the default 50% blew the components off the PCB - holding the button for a couple of seconds saves your settings. The front panel controls are simple to use and the construction looks solid. The stand is heavy and very stable. I was worried that the thick hose might be awkward to use but it is much more flexible than I expected. It is obviously more expensive than a normal cheap soldering iron but for SMD work the results are excellent and this allows me to solder devices I couldn't use before. Another major benefit is that if you need to, you can easily remove components again without damaging the device or the PCB and then replace them. I will try the higher melting point paste in the future.
The Eleshop video comparing the various hot air units was very clear and helpful (although I do not have any experience with the other units shown in the video).
The ESD ground cable has a 4mm plug on each end + a crocodile clip - personally, a "button" style connector would have been nice to connect to my EMC ground plug (Eleshop " ESD aardestekker geel") but the 4mm plug is pretty generic.

Fijn station met prima accessoires. Bediening van menu is omslachtig, handleiding kan beter, maar wat je dagelijks gebruikt, werkt simpel en vlot

Voor reparatie gebruik alleen en kleine projecten, makkelijk en gebruiksvriendelijk. Goede aanrader van Eleshop. Top service

In de stand 'cold' kan je nog steeds je vingers branden, het element gaat kennelijk niet helemaal uit.

Verder valt er weinig op aan te merken, het werkt uitstekend, warmt snel op.

Is zijn prijs waard als je professioneel wilt werken.

Dit hete lucht station is van goede kwaliteit en gebruiksvriendelijk. De interface is eenvoudig te bedienen en wijst zichzelf uit. Persoonlijk vind ik de darm net iets te kort, maar dit komt omdat deze op een hoekje op de werkbank staat. Dus moet ik telkens dit station verplaatsen als ik het nodig heb. Het handige is dat je een knopje hebt om de temperatuur te switchen tussen warme en koele lucht. Waardoor je de pcb sneller kan afkoelen (als de interne weerstand is afgekoeld natuurlijk.)

Mooi apparaat, goed instelbaar, geleverd met bruikbare accessoires (o.a. 5 nozzles), is zijn geld waard. Het filmpje over de 4 hetelucht-soldeerstations op YouTube was zeer behulpzaam bij de keuze. Ook snel geleverd (wel in een erg grote doos). Is net binnen dus ik heb nog niet alle mogelijkheden kunnen uitproberen. Jammer dat de handleiding in het Engels is.

Gebruik em net zoals m’n mede YouTube herstellers - super makkelijk in gebruik en instelling - ik raad wel aan om de schuine nozzles mee te bestellen, dit verhoogt het gebruiksgemak en minder risico op smelten van plastic onderdelen.
