Fnirsi SG-003A signaalgenerator reviews

I had the SG-004A before which I had to return because of barely hitting its accuray and also drifting quite a lot combined with rather excessive VDC regulation.... So I gave it another shot and ordered the SG-003A knowing that it has less functionality and lower accuracy (as per datasheet).
Ok, the usual self calibration (including of course ample warm up time) for V and I on 3 points. My reference as before 1V, 10V and odd 3.333V - The biggest surprise was that this blue version is really challenging its bigger brother the SG-004A and in some case surpasses it.
I got it down to an accuracy of 0.03 to 0.02. And what is most important is (even after 12 hours off in between) is the stability is quite phenomenal.After long logging with different PLC integration times of my Keithley I can say the following =>
Accuracy in VDC is +/- 0.012% to 0.03% around after having sampled 15mins, 30mins and 6hr of data.
Stability fluctuations (drift) are in the range of 150µV in 1VDC range adn are not abrupt but more like a slow sliding window. (In fact that is the self regulation of the Vref and the processor )
Long term trending is really stable and very impressive.
After 12hrs off it only takes less then 3 mins to be very stable (and even before it is already very usable).
Regulation around selected output value is very , very small avoiding those over regulation issues I had with the SG-004A.
And switching to current output checking all in between 6 to 24mA it is rock solid and spot on.
And I surely also compared it to my Metrix (Chauvin Arnoux) professional multimeter which was also in calibrated state and an long statistics via software. The Metrix and the Keithley both agreed to each other on this little blue wonder.
Maybe I got lucky with the SG-003A and the SG-004A was my yellow lemon ;-) .
If the yellow SG-004A had been this way I would have kept it. Now the blue version SG-003A is a keeper for me.
